<strong>As I understand it the TCS/ASR system is controlled by the ABS controller, and not the PCM. The PCM gets an input from the ABS controller as a request to decrease engine output. you're partially right. however, the ebtcm (abs module) cannot control timing or throttle position. therefore, it tells the pcm, "hey, we got a wheel going a little fast back there. why don't you do something about that." to which the pcm replies, "i'll do what i can." then the pcm retards timing. if that doesn't work, it closes the throttle. if that doesn't work, it tells the ebtcm, "f*ck it, i can't do anything. you do it." then the ebtcm would apply a brake. so, i think to make it work, you would have to make the pcm retard timing JUST a hair and not touch the throttle. the problem with this is that the ebtcm is still going to say there is wheelspin, and the pcm will keep retarding timing. IF ls1-edit can mess with abs functions, it MIGHT work.
