Default Jet-Hot LTs + Denso 'vette rears = ...

... not enough to keep P1133 and P1153 from popping.

I'm going to have to not recommend the Denso brand
sensors as a fix for the thermal problems. They are
pretty wobbly looking at idle where my stockers with
log manifolds were all happy. Lit, but damn slow, they
look like.

I have to agree... I installed a new set (Denso Vette rears) and they are switching slower than the Bosch (also Vette rears) sensors. This even after I have wrapped (ThermoTec) my entire headers... So I am still getting p0153 and sometimes 0133... moving on.

I too found the densos to apparently run cooler and switch much slower at low loads and idle. The bosch 13111's are indeed a little better but I usually still pop some codes with them too.

Jimmyblue, glad to see you finally threw on some long tubes! Now where's the cam?

My Denso's do the same thing, so I turned the ses light off for those codes, it got annoying seeing it all the time. I got them because my stockers were sucking, but it seems that they are not all that much better. I guess any sensor that is noved from its stock location is going to suck.

Interesting.... I haven't had any O2 codes come back since I switched to Densos last June and they seem to switch fairly well in all types of driving

Mine switch a little slow, but my LC1 has my AFR in the 14.5 to 15.2 range, in normal driving and idling, so I cant really complain.

Since I wrapped my headers I have not tried the Bosch sensors. I have some in the garage, I may give it a shot this weekend...

My Bosch sensors took a **** a few weeks ago on me on my Kooks headers. Been running open loop ever since...I'm not gonna go back to closed loop until there is a better solution available. It is too much money to be throwing around at pure conjecture and hearsay.

I run the stock (but not original) GM sensors...had 2
heater codes (same O2) in 5 months. Otherwise-all OK.
Have monitored V change with power on (engine off), but
unfortunately it takes ATAP so long to boot.....

Don't hesitate to try out the Bosch 13111's. My self and a few customers have used them with no codes. I have approx 15k on mine, some of it during winter use.

Is this the part # for the Vette rear 02 sensors,
and if so, what year/years vette are these from?

I keep having the 1133 code off and on, usually if I cruise around at low RPM,
but it's done it before even if I do stay on Drive rather than Overdrive.

I think its 01+. Before then they had the flat four connectors instead of the square four connectors like we have.

No kidding, my extensions on stock O2's are still working fine after my Header install (TSP X duals, no cats).
