Those with G5 cam and ls1 edit
I have both of these and have been trying to get my car dialed in for awhile now. I have my ltrms at -6% My timing @ 29.5 degrees at WOT and my 02's in the .880 mv range and 0 KR. Bolt on Mph was 111. Since I Have added g5 cam, 4.10 gears,ls6 intake and ls1 edit tuning with a brand new mph of 113! This blows *****. I have even ran in 15 degree colder weather with this set up only pulling 113 mph shifting at 6600 rpms.
I really hope its in the tuning. Anyone have a flash file with g5 cam they can send me to see what I am doing wrong? Or I can send mine to somebody if they will look at it for me.
I figured at Least minimum 20hp from the cam,5-10 mph from ls6 intake and 1-2 mph from 4.10 gears, I should be trapping the 115-117 mph range.
My older brother went from 112 traps with bolt ons in his c5 to adding 4.10 gears, ls6 intake, Tr224 cam and ls1 edit and he is pulling 117.5 mph!
Someone please help.
Thanks
Alex

Re: Those with G5 cam and ls1 edit
I hope that my suggestion below is the easy cure for you and you will be jumping and shouting when you try this!
For some reason I am seeing a lot of LS1's as of late defaulting to the low octane timing table. This will cost you plenty of HP....in some cases upwards or 40-50HP!
First, if you have access to ATAP, take your car out on your favorite empty highway and do a few full throttle blasts through the gears recording your timing and KR. If you timing values are in the high teens or low 20's at WOT, just smile because I have the instant cure below
Take the timing values in your high octane tables and insert these values into your low octane table. It's a real pain because you can't just cut & paste these, you have to type them one by one. Once you do this you will notice an immediate SOTP improvement! Please try this and let me know the results!

It has always stayed at29 degrees at wot.. I atap last night 1- 4 gears it stayed constantly 29-29.5 degrees at wot. I than adjusted the low octane table and it did't become affected any. Still same timing. O KR. I know my car should be faster than this.

Hmmmmmm, the only other thing that would make sense here is that you are running too lean. Unfortuantely the O2's aren't all that accurate so you really need a wideband O2 to reference them against. In my case perfect O2's are about 0.930's for max power based on the dyno. You may want to try revising your A/F via the PE tables and see what happens.

Are you running a ported MAF? It sounds like my problem when I was running a ported maf. My MAF wasn't calibrated correctly. Which doesn't let the computer see the right Gms/Cyl. Look at your timing table. You may only below .60 gms/cyl which this section of the table is usualy not touched when you mess with your timing.
