To the other poster I wouldn't run with the code deleted, could be a mechanical problem.

What Im getting at is, sure it could be somethign simple THIS time. But the existance of the code is for a reason. So next time your engine is near ready to explode you'll be none the wiser cause you eliminated the code

Change the parameters.................
Most people won't help with this. Thats why it's easier to delete/turn the
PCM codes off.

Most of the time it is common sense on what to do. I do understand what you are saying. It is very hard to get answers, "and correct ones" alot of times on the forums. Eventually it does get answered.
As for your way of setting up for misfire detection. Usually on a heads and cam car, i start out with an ls6 table set for the perameters, Then, i add 10% that usually gets it really close, Then ill drive the car in lots of low rpm situations and see if it hits any, if it does, then all you do is add 10 more percent, Only in the low rpm tables are they needed to be modified. Then, i have a plug wire that is bad that i have saved, i use that as a tester plug wire to see if the computer will still catch the misfire. then im done.

Im replying in this thread, because Im in the same boat right now. I got a p0300 code after a heads/injectors/pulley install and Ive modified the injector tables but still shows the code. Then after awhile of it being on it starts to flash.
Ive had HPTuners on it, and a SnapOn scan tool and they both show missfires in all cylinders. Not sure where to go from here. Plugs are newly put in, and dont look in bad shape.
