serial prices still apply as normal..so it would cost you the same amount of adding 1/2/3 bar respectively.....and believe the MAF versions are the same price as 1 bar

The only thing I don't like is the need for a custom OS. With the road runner you are able to access every table in the PCM and on top of that they have it working for 98-04 LS1 PCM's Diseil and other trucks... no custom OS needed. I've actually got mine working wirelessly with bluetooth because I didn't want any cables in my vette.
It really isnt a "custom OS" that you have to have. The MAF RTT OS *ONLY* changes the RTT settings in the general tab. There are 18 tables you can edit in SD and I think there may be the same in MAF or there may be an extra one. The best part is you dont have to swap PCM's out from car to car when you tune The tables it give you for idle and part throttle are all the important ones you will need for tweaking.

Also, for those wondering, you can stop the log and it still keeps the modified values in the table so you can copy when you get done.

1 or 2 credits ($49.99 per credit)
Dont know which OS mod you want, so here is the link to the orders page:
http://www.hptuners.com/order.php

Serial interface customers have to contact sales to get a software update.

I must also warn you I have not completed every single OS modification for 1/2/3 bar. Most of the common OS's are supported and it will take me a while to get the remaining operating systems converted.

As the RTT update is free for those who already have 1/2/3 bar enhancements, you will receive the standard 1/2/3 bar for now if it's not ready and the RTT update when available.

You can highlight a cell/area and hit the +/- keys to make changes, or copy paste the histogram.

All of the changes stay there until key off (PCM hard reset).

Gotcha. So if you want to change the entire table (ve) how long does it take?

Situation - You drive for 20mins collecting data with the VE histogram in the scanner. You then do a full table "change". How soon does it take to effect the whole table? Worst case possible, what is the maximum allotted time to take effect regardless of the tables?

Thumbs up

Now we can all appreciate why the EIO USB was worth the wait ie black box recording, we should just be patient.

RTT even with the serial cable (plus 1 bar licence) should make everybody happy.

I first bought VCM Suite in July 2005 (v1.7) and look what has happen since.

Great work Chris, Keith, Ken

Every car I have done with RTT has taken me less than 2 hours each....
it is effected immediately as soon as you change the values..either by adding subtracting multiplying using the =value controls or by copy/paste...
immediate results

Short answer yes, but you'd have to look under the OS tab to see which ones are activated...the two files I have on my home computer had RTT activated on at least the maf enhanced...one had it activated on MAF, 1 bar SD & 2 bar SD as well. They had to redue dozens of OS's and are doing more every day to get them all supported.

So you make changes and then paste them into the tune and flash it? I get it, works alot like bi-directional controls

you have 4 options now, 1/2/3 bar SD or 1 bar MAF enhanced, but to answer your question, yes, you can only get RTT with a custom OS.

What specifically does 1 bar MAF enhanced add other than the RTT over a standard GM OS?

That is it, just RTT. That is why I said its not your typical custom OS as that is all it does.

Am I the only one who noticed this?!?

Now this sounds amazing! If you could automatically have your software do the RTT for you to change your VE table to always hit commanded AFR, or automatically reduce timing where you have KR, and add it where there is none.

As excited as i am about RTT, this is the real prize winning pig here.

in addition to the TPS fuel adder and high octane table utilization that was the original reason for 1 bar support.
