Default looking for tuner near South Dakota

hey guys i live in South dakota there are only two tuners in the state that i know of so far. Sioux Falls(no longer an option due to his lack of interest) and Watertown, both have tried tuning my car but no luck so far. Going to give Dynotune another shot sometime in the next couple weeks but im getting pesimistic about tuning have spent well over 1000 bucks trying to get this car tuned to idle properly and so forth. So i was wondering if anyone would have information about a tuner within a surrounding state of SD that could help me with my misfortune(LOL). I'd appreciate some info if available. Thanks.

agree with ^^^^^^

the dynotune guy from watertown comes out to the vette rally almost every year so somewhat familiar with him. he tuned a friends 400hp eclipse and also dyno'd my 300zx. however, sorry to say wasn't overly impressed. spend the money and do it yourself. its worth it.

Andy at DynotuneUSA is the man.
Hes the man responsible for those huge power cars from the dynomax power to the wheels competition, making over 1000rwhp.
He had a C5 there making 1200+ on the stock PCM....I'd say he's quite a tuner.

Thanks
Mike

Im guessing one of the shops your talking about is Excessive? I know from second hand experience from a buddy that wanted him to do some work for him it does take him a while to get back to you.

Another option is the new shop that is supposed to open in May sometime. Its called South Side Performance. I dont know if I would take it there though since its a new shop but I know that guy did not go the cheap route on anything in the shop.

if its just a idle problem, buy hp tuners, and run it in RTT. changes are instant, so finding the problem wont take long. it could save you money in the long run, and pretty simple to use.
