Default H/C A4 Stalling after start up.... has been tuned

Mods are in sig.

My car intermintently stalls right after start up. My tuner has tried to tune for it. I have a ported 98 TB with a stock blade. I have the idle screw adjusted to the border of 0 & 1% throttle.

Do I need to add a small hole to my TB to fix this?

Thanks

No. Post a copy of your tune. Have your tuner email it to you and post it here for review.

Have you performed a throttle position sensor reset after each adjustment of the blade?

VATS issue will kill the car right after startup. Try disabling it in the options to rule it out.

Not VATS.... Will also intermintently die from park to reverse with steering wheel turned.

Idle RPM programed in computer is 838...dont ask me why he set it at that.

The relationship between the software control of the position of the IAC valve and the physical position of the Throttlebody set screw stop point is in error based on the conditions you have described.

If you pretty much *ever* see the TPS flicker from 0 to 1%, you have the set screw in a little too far. There are idle routines that are constantly interrupted by this flicker. Back it out 1/4 to a half turn, reset the TPS and scan with the car running to ensure that it stays at 0%. The cars that flicker never seem to do it at key-on, only when the engine is actually running.

You have startup and friction airflow adders and
decays, which can / should be used to deal with
an increased startup airflow demand. This ought
to come after getting the startup / cold mixture
right, which is liable to be pretty bent on a cammed
car (higher idle MAP pushing higher open loop EQ
value, at the same RPM and likely similar real engine
torque losses as before). Piggy rich needs more air
to idle.

I had to play with my friction airflow decay a bit
before getting happy with cold start / run.

I had a similar problem, happened during hot starts or when coming to a stop (more pronounced when coming to a stop and turning the wheel). Only at low speeds.
