Nice! I did that swap when I had a w68 car as well. if you are installing it yourself though get a buddy or 2 to help you line it up. also line it up before you attach the struts

total pain in the ***!

Had My Magnaflow 15684 installed today. Wanted to keep the stock look so I had the shop use the stock tips, instead of the big round chrome tips that came with it.

I think the oval tip looks better with the cut out in the bumper. Its got a better sound to it now also, it could be a little louder for my tastes but I can live with it.

Default what did you do to your firebird today?

I have been busy, took a car with 87,000 original miles did the ls brake swap, built a forged and balanced 355, SLP lid conversion, got rid of the small wing and put a Ram stage 3 clutch in.

I apologize for the crappy cell phone pic. It doesn't do justice for the work I did! Just gave it a good washing and spray detailing.

Car fixed its own hesitation issue So I figured I'd wash her and bust her loose. Never got this high because of her age and previous owner neglect She did well

Hows it compared to stock? Every time I hear MF it sounds deep but not loud.

I am itching to put new exhaust on my bird. The stock exhaust is just to quiet.

Against popular opinion, I think I'm going SLP LM1. Its a good price with a good sound.

Against popular opinion? The SLP Loudmouth is probably one of the most popular exhaust systems for F-Bodies. The only people I hear who complain about it are people with longtubes and offroad y-pipes because it can get a bit raspy at certain RPMs. If you have factory manifolds and y-pipe, it will sound great.
