Those look great! I have been looking at Rotiform as well, but to get the size I want will cost 3 - 4k a set of wheels. I like the BLQ and BLQ-C. The BLQ-C in 18x9.5 and 18x10.5 will cost the 4k.
I'm gonna go with C7 Z06 replica wheels. $750
Thanks man. I've been looking at these for a couple weeks now. I wanted to do something a little different than the typical corvette wheel swap. I couldn't find these for under a grand, but stumbled across an amazon dealer selling them for 750 and jumped on it. Like you, I didn't want to spend thousands on rims for a project car that I bum around in. The pictures really don't do them justice either. You cant really see the concavity. With the quarantine I've been able to get a lot done on it. Dropped the k-member a couple weeks ago when I was doing the springs and got the oil pan gasket changed out. No longer leaking like a sieve. In the last year I've pretty much replaced every gasket on the engine because it was leaking from everywhere.
Last summer I swapped out the slippery old Kuhmos for new Pilot Sports. Then several weeks later, I was sitting in my garage and noticed that the lower fender and door panel didn't line up very well. Upon closer inspection, that's when I saw the damage done by the tire shop on both sides. A similar thing can happen on Pontiac Solstice and Saturn Skys.
See ya,
John
When your car gets put on a lift, the lifting arms can smash the front fender flange which moves the bottom of the fender in or out. Check out the video on Detroit Speed. BTW, I just ordered a pair of these.
[QUOTE=crich88848;20247259]Been on this site a while, just not this side of it. Had an Impala SS LS4 for a while. I've had this 2000 T/A for about a year. Just put the wheels on today. Pretty similar to other styles done but I think my choice is a little unique and I haven't seen it done anywhere else. Rotiform WGR 18x9.5, 40mm offset wrapped in Kumho PS91s 275/35 on all corners. Its lowered on strano springs and not rubbing anywhere as far as I can tell.

Car looks awesome. How do those Strano springs ride? Bouncy at all?
Tinted the third brake light with Restolium. Fun fast Before Before After After. Burnt out bulb. Holly ****!!!! How did I let thais happen????? Lol.
little project.

Thanks man. It rides amazing. Much more predictable and not as sloppy. Hard to tell what effect each part had. Did the wheels and springs at the same time. Here's a better picture.
I dropped the rear axle out of my car this past weekend in preparation for swapping in an S60. Did find a piece of gear come out when I drained the old unit, it has been making noise for nearly a year now, gradually getting worse to the point it was so noisy I didn't want to drive it. Now that it is out, I can feel axial play in the pinion. Not spending a dime on this weak 7.5" 10-bolt. Will be upgrading the LCAs, TA and PHB while I'm at it.
Well i havent done it yet but need to get my ebrake hooked up. Car has SS brembos now and i need a pair of cable brackets from a new SS. Anyone know the part #? (and yes, the old bitch needs a bath....even though she doesnt deserve it)
Time to have some fun. Koni/Strano set up. Strano sway bars, Strut brace, and lower control bars and pan hard, waiting to get delivery of these still. Will start in earnest tomorrow. More picks to come. Headers are QTP, and the upper a arms are Midwest chassis.
Cut off the old exhaust tips, and welded on some stainless ebay specials!! They are pretty nice for $50 really. Not real heavy gauge, but good enough for my purposes.
I like the look of the stock tips, but they're a little small in diameter for my taste. These are 3" outlet.
So a little bigger than stock, but not too big. The car is completely stock, and I didn't want 4" tips lol.
It has a cat back, but it's pretty quiet. Just bought the car last week and the tips that were on it really looked bad IMO. Fixed the power antenna last week. Tips this week.
