I bought a 1999 WS6 105,000 miles just last monday. The headlight doors and turn signal will go bad 99% of the time, so just be prepared for those. The door panels will crack if (from what i've read) if the windows are down too much. (my passenger is, drivers about half way). Make sure to check the RPO code inside the door panel for the WS6 code to make sure it's real. Sounds like a good deal. Mine was listed at 8500, I paid 8200. Otherwise check the usuals, make sure everything works good, and good luck with the purchase. It's an incredibly fun car

Distinct RPO Code: WS6
Anyway, nice find. Bought mine from a member on here a 2 yrs ago for 4800 with 140k on it. It also was a steal and what did I care about the mileage... I was gonna rebuild the drivetrain anyway

As he stated, WS6 will be the code. Somewhere near the middle if I remember right. I could go look at the car I just finished working on and check, but you know this laziness disease going around.. lol. But if it's true WS6 it'll have that code
If that was to me, I paid in cash. Cashiers check certified by the bank to be exact.
Also check for leaks in the TTops. It's not always the tops leaking, but more commonly the pin set to the doors is starting to sag. They are likely the heaviest doors in history.

so whats the problem? aside from the flames, all else is easily remedied.. so what if he was a smoker, as long as there are no burn holes, leather bounces right back with a good cleaning... show him 6k and drive that bitch home... you wont be sorry.

2000-2002 are black or ebony
97-99 are the gray ones. difference is pretty noticeable.
here is a 99 gray, this is the interior that was in my car when i bought it..
this is from a 2002

I believe so... I have a 98 now and it is the lighter color. I had a 2000 and it was definately darker. There are pics in my fquick Garage with the two different interior colors.
