Was standing about 50ft behind the car at night and didn't really like how visible the LEDs were for the license plate.

Spent about 60 seconds modelings another bracket and a little over an hour printing it in PETG.

Also cut it down to one light as opposed to 2. Much better now.

Latest in the gauge pod series. This one is for another member on here who asked to have the pod cover the front of the console and still be able to use the 12v.

Mounts the exact same as the other gauge pod. No cutting, etc.

Starter still giving me issues. Gonna order a new one this week. Haven’t really researched yet, but probably just going to go with a ACdelco or something like that, unless anyone has another suggestion

If you don't wanna deal with trouble shooting it, I'd just replace it and move on. If it's the original starter and the age of our cars, it's likely got some build up on terminals and dried grease on the solenoid.

If you've not looked I'd make sure your main power terminals are in good shape. Since they are copper strand wire any moisture can start to corrode them from within and not show on the terminals until you peel back the coating or rubber covers. That would also contribute to starter being sporadic during startups.

Got under it tonight and everything seemed in order. Terminals looked clean. Original starter on there, guess it's just its time

Was also nice not seeing everything covered in a film of oil.

Good news is it's not a hard part to install.

Your starter has the two long bolts or one shorter?

Default Truck Starter Install

Truck starter install this evening. Went with a Remy 96228. I've read in past threads that people were having trouble getting the starting in with it hitting the notch on the block, but it went straight in for me. I loosened the dust cover and finagle with it for about a minute. Took longer for me to get the car in the air and pull the tools out lol. Love a smooth install.

Also super weird hearing the starter make a different sound than the one I've heard for 12 years. She's good to go now

Got straight up embarrassed by this RS7 last night lol. Pulled over to talk to the owner and turns out it’s pushing ~700. Think he said it had meth, bigger compressors, intake, tune, not sure what else. Really nice build and cool owner. Didn’t realize how impressive those cars were.

They are no joke. A close friend of mines wife drives a tuned RS7 Prestige. Hers runs 10.8.

Wanted to switch up/optimize the exhaust a little. Purchased a 3-4" Flowmaster merge, and a 4in cutout.

UMI drive shaft safety loop going in! Got a good deal on this one off marketplace.

Also was gifted a jack from my buddys dad

It was a good opportunity hahah he was asking g 16k was recently painted, built 383 5 speed, red interior but it needed redone.

I still wanna finish my 71 Camaro, but everytime I see one especially the early second gens..... I think about trading.

I jist finished welding some bracing all up to do the roof swap. Once I start making real progress I'll probably be more content

Safety loop big need!!! my GTO shaft let loose on the interstate scared the hell outa me!
