Printing a block off for my high beam housing since I no longer need them. Not sure what design (if any) I should put on there. Half a Phoenix on each light? Honeycomb? A *****? Arrowhead? The tragedy of darth plaguesis the wise?

Did you go bi-xenon or bi-led in the low beam position?
I still kept my high beams. I used LMC High Beam Housings with drop-in LED bulbs.

How about some light-up stripes or pattern? Switchback wired into turn signals?

I've got Star Wars, Star Trek, Knight Rider, and Back to the Future references on my cars. So putting that on there would be cool too.

Bi-xenon. I had the stock highs in there and wired up, but they didn’t add much and after one of them went out I never bothered replacing them.

light up would be cool! Good thing about having a printer is I’m not really limited to one thing. Good for being indecisive lol

Did you post pics of the bi-xenon setup? I guess I missed them. Or was this the newer BLS setup using the older Morimoto MD2S 2.0 projectors (which is now sold as ACME)?

Yeah, having a 3D printer lets you get creative. I've been making various things for my cars, props, toys, etc.

Should be a pic in the OP. Basically some chinese projectors rigged to the hella mounting plate. H11 bulbs IIRC

You should look into it! Great community, cheap buy-in, and learning curve isnt too steep. Tons of resources

I don't have a drawing background either. I did some research for a printer good for a beginner, bought it, and learned Fusion 360 (drawing app - free for non-commercial). I didn't know anything until I started in late 2019. There are helpful videos on YouTube and forum posts to get past issues while learning. That's how I got into it.

I went back and looked. I did see the pic but missed the details.

I used Google sketch up for a time, but had issues with my models being hollow and the slicer program not liking it and I never picked it back up. That was me sending the model to aprinting service though.

Maybe it's time to get back into it

Long day yesterday!

The plan for the day was to change my motor mounts, steering rack, and oil pan gasket. On my hour long drive to the shop a trans cooler line swelled and popped where the line meets the cooler. I can't recall who recommended braided cooler lines earlier in this thread, but I should have listened! A new hose and some more trans fluid and we were on the way.

Got to the shop and started working. We got almost everything out of the way. Long tubes, Alternator, coils, AC, etc. so we wouldn't fight space constraints when doing the motor mounts.

Stock mounts were long gone! 168k miles and should have been changed a while ago.

Starting to get the oil pan off here. We had the engine braced and had to drop the k-member in order to get the oil pan out.

Things you don't expect to find against the grate in your pick up tube. I can only assume it got in there when the shop changed my oil pump, since that's the only time I can think of the pan ever being opened. Other than that I have no clue. Thankful the grate did its job.

TurnOne rack is in! Desperately need an alignment now

Headed out! No more leaks, no more creaks, and the exhaust or trans doesn't slam the trans crossmember when it shifts! Huge shoutout as always to my buddy Cajun ELESS-One for lift/shop access and saving me on the road
