Default Anyone have GM hook ups for production numbers?

I wanted more defined numbers on my car, it is 1 of 84 with just color, but I want the options and transmission and all that stuff factored in. I can get all the codes and type them up if anyone has hook ups. I e-mailed Pontiac, but they told me I have to pay GM Historic or something like that. Thanks!

Thanks a lot man, I don't have my car with me, so I will have to have my dad read them off to me and I'll send them your way. Thanks!

bullcrap, call this number, I got my info the other day. Called them and he called back 24hrs later with the day it was built, day it was delivered and the number it was out of the entire c.e. line. Now this might only be for collectors eds, I really dont know. But its a gm number they can point u in the right direction. 866-932-4368. worth a try.

Well, good luck with that... From what I've read, it sounds like they don't have any of the more-detailed numbers for the Firebirds ( ) , so please post if you do manage to find out anything!

I just called the number and a guy took my info and said he would research it and find out what he could and call back within 48 hours. I hope this works but I doubt he will find much because ASC did my car along with the other ws6 but they wouldn't give me any info.

I am just really ithcing to find out how many of mine were made, because I want it on a license plate, 1 OF 84 was my original idea, but want to wait a little. I doubt I will have luck though.

Anyone have a Silencer start-up disable chip in their cars? Mounted under the steering wheel dash? I heard that it is factory, because I have one.

'Silencer start-up disable chip'? Haven't heard of such thing myself... might you be talking about GM's 'PASS-Key II' system (which is factory, and in the steering column), which will disable start-up if a key containing the correct resistor is not used?

It is right under the steering wheel and it is a chip that is removeable.

Anyone else try the number? I do not have access to my car for two weeks, so I am sort of waiting, haha.

Default 1997 Production Numbers

I saw that you posted 1998 production numbers as noted below back on the 24th of March. I thought that I could get similar numbers for 1997 by just changing the year on your link. (Mine's a Formula convertible, LT1, A3).

It didn't work.

Can you please pass along a link for the 1997 model year?

Thanks very much!

Yeah, that particular website only has the 1998 numbers on it. Here is my complete list of production numbers links: https://ls1tech.com/forums/showpost....96&postcount=2

There are several on there that have information for 1997, but it's just by model, none of the options/colors numbers like there are for 1998.

283 non-WS6 Formula convertibles in 1997
