It was on slicks. There's a thread about it in the fwd vehicle specific forum section.

You cable the rear springs and run slicks on the nose, I pull 1.8 and 1.7's all day on my wbody.

Its all good man! Before I knew the G8 was being released my wife and I were pricing some GP GXPs w/ LS4s. They really are underestimated cars/motors. During our test drive my wife kept asking me "Is it supposed to be this quick?!" A part of me still wants one too.
