Default 2004-2006 differences [buying choice]

I have been looking at a couple of gto's [2005] and seen a big price differences in years. Never owned one so is it worth buying a 2005 over a 2004 or 2006 over a 2005? Besides the year difference is it worth the money for a certain year even if they all had the same mileage, Thanks

2004 have the 5.7 (350 hp), dash troubles and some rear end troubles

2005 and 2006 are 6.0 (400hp), 06 have lighted steering wheel radio controls, bigger brakes than 04's, hood scoops, faster motors in power seats than 04s, 06's have a door lock switch in the console 04 and 05 dont.

I have an 06 and I think all of the bugs were worked out, love the car.

the differences that the 05-06 got were enough to sway me into buying an 05 over an 04 i looked at for less money.

I have an 05 and would not get anything but an 05 or 06. The power made up by the LS2 is definitely worth it.

Right now is the time to buy for sure, the prices are super low, way less then I paid. I would get an 06 if I was in the market right now because the tail lights and rims are WAY better then the 05s or 04s.

I have and 04 and have drove and 06. The ls2 has more pop but it is more in the top end. If you change the intake to fast intake in 04 pretty much a driver's race. I did have 1 time the gauges go nuts in my 04 and just turned car off and back on. The door locks kinda suck in 04 because they get stuck.

I guess we can agree to disagree. The fast intake (even with a tune) won't make up the 50 horsepower the 2005-2006 has over the 2004. I owned a 2005 A4 and if I had bought a 2004 and then had seen all the improvements with the 2005, I would have been highly upset. I knew several guys with 2004's that sure wanted a 2005 when they first came out.
