Don't own a GTO yet so I don't post here, but couldn't help but notice this thread. I really don't understand how you can have anything in your life, especially a car, that you don't find attractive. Who CARES how fast it can go or how great the seats are or whatever the hell else it is if you think the car's ugly? Cars are rolling, personal styling statements of ourselves. I dunno about you but I don't want to project ugliness or dissatisfaction. I'd rather take the bus than own a car that I thought was "ugly." Heck if you hate your car that much give it to me.
Truly....wierd....
On that note, I hope to own an LS2 GTO someday, and for f**k's sake I'll admire the power and comfort and that the car looks awesome no matter what it does...

Well for me, since the day they first came out, I think they just look like a special edition of the grand prix. Looks nothing like the original. Has NONE of the heritage of the original. Look at the new Mustang, Camaro, Challenger. You can see the classic lines in them. The other failure for me is the Charger. Where does it look anything like the original?
