I've run Holeshot 15 by 9.5 and 15 by 4 with 6 7/8 inch backspacing. You could call and ask what the backspacing they are using for the fronts. Those are 10 inch Hoosiers on the back and 185 by 65 by 15 Toyos on the front.

Rear: 15x10 7.5bs Weld WeldStar 26x10x15 Hoosier Slick
Front: 15x3.5 1.75bs Weld AlumaStar 2.0 185/65/15 Kumho PowerStar

All depends on the wheel. 15x8 should be a 5.5bs not a 7.5bs, its the same as an F-body.

I ran 2 spares in the front for a while at one time... seemed to do the trick.

I see "Weld" or "clone" rims - What about lug nut spacing?

Weld and "clone" (from Jegs or summit or other lookalikes) are just not as light as real weld wheels.

for the lug spacing you want 5 x 4.75 (120.65mm)

gto forum guys say you can only get away with 9inch on the rear, are you having any rub issues, especially on the launch, did you have to roll the outer fender lip up, any modding to the car at all to get the 10s to fit, if i can get a 10 thats def. what i want, thanks

I have Pedders 5/16 Drags Springs and BMR Drag Bags. Virgin Fenders.

The bags aren't necessary to keep the fenders off but I use them for tuning the launch.

HEy just a caution here the actual lug pattern on the GTO is 5x120 not 5x120.65 there is a diffrence. The GTO is Hubcentric which means the wheel ligne up on the hub not the lugs. Using the wrong lug pattern here can be an issue and break at the worst time. just a possibility and use caution.

Yea I know there is a difference, but anyone with a track set like this or anything almost always uses the 120.65 because almost no one makes a 120mm drag wheel.

I've never heard of anyone having problems doing this. From street wheels to a drag setup.
As long as you follow the proper bolting procedure when you put them on to get them centered its all good.

If you are going to get a drag setup though, You'll need to change out either the front or rear studs (can't remember). I changed all mine to ARP's (front and rear).

BFH the inner wheel house, cut the shock dust tubes off, and cut or roll the outer fenders a bit. I also have drag bags and 0 rub issues!

i think the 05-06 brakes are to big, you may need to install 04 brakes they're a little smaller.
