i'll leave the outside stock except for the rims and take their 600Hp engine package. not a fan of that hood scoop would like some scoops that remind us of the "Judge".

Does anyone else realize this is a Pontiac? It is not a Mopar. It is not a Buick. Why is there a shaker hood on a Pontiac? If it was a Ford, I could see why they would do it. Why are their fender 'vents' like the 50's Buicks? Stop with the body cladding and start with the twin turbo development. Companies are going of what their customers want. They are putting out trash like this to try to make a quick buck off of the retro people.

Honestly, not too excited about the appearance, but you have to say for the base model of 425 horses?? N-A-S-T-Y!!!! That hood scoop reminds me of the older trans-am's!! I'm not really digging the heat extractors but, they must be there for a reason!!! I'm digging the overall car, but would definitely put some different wheels on it.

I agree with you on the heritage of the ram air, but at least get it right and face the shaker hood the right direction and style. Suncoast at least got it right with theyre shaker hood for the 4th gen' T/A's

I would think they turned the shaker around for a true ram air effect. The old T/A shakers proved to be not too effective because they were too far from the base of the windshield to get the air off of it. That plus noise reduction requirements got Pontiac to make them non functional around '74. So from a engineering stand point they have it pointed right. From a execution standpoint they have some work to do. Plus get those Buick gills off the fenders. One thing no one has commented on is the multiple engine packages that the f-body was never offered. This is encouraging plus a warranty to boot.

Ever hear of the magnificent seven? You could just about get any "engine package" you wanted from Pontiac in 67-68. From the straight six all the way to the powerful ram air packages. So yeah, they did offer engine packages.

You missed my point and I did not clarify. I was referring to the 4th gens but we can carry that back to the early 2nd gens too. Looks like GMMG is involved in some way with this. I do not know if they are doing the engine packages but there are more that 2 or 3 phases to choose from.
