Seen it in person. That car is a steel for 35K. My guess would be well over 80K invested. Plus BMR wouldnt build or sell anything bad. They are a top notch company. Hats off to them and who ever picks up this bad *** GTO.

Exactly, you know its been extremely well built and even though the paint job is a love it/hate it type deal still you couldnt replicate that for less than $100K (if you count the mods and the cost of the car brand new). I mean hell if I had the money right now to buy it outright id def do it and just repaint it!

You can be sure it isn't a virgin built car, has been flogged well.

A canopy fell on it at one point and instead of painting it back to stock, they decided to put their own touch on it.

Worst paint ever.

I would have repainted it the orange that 2006 GTOs offer with a better hood than what GM puts on them. Still a steal for $35k.

If you haven't seen the paint in person you have no clue...LOL

I hated it in pictures too and then I saw it in person and was in awe!

And yeah replicating that car would cost a minimum of $75k!!!

I saw this car in person on the power tour... I agree about the paint.... The car itself is really bad-assed, but the paint is not..

I think the car is all around awesome, even the paint and I'm sure it looks better in person.

Dont take offense but who's calling the car ugly... people with stock cars and stock rims or people with old POS Camaro's? That GTO would turn more excited heads than any other car in this thread.

I think the paint job is sharp! Really draws your attention to the car. Way more than the stock blue paint job did.

i too have seen this car in person many times. BMR is top notch first of all. second, the car looks incredible in real life. but you guys can sit back in the cheap seats and comment all you want. i dont see any show cars in this thread.....how many been in a major magazine.......how many have run faster than brett's car......

It is not that it is ugly it is just UGLY. I rather a solid color car than a crazy Need For Speed underground paint job. I have seen some stock 35th SS that look so much better than that gay paintjob. The stock CETA looks way better than that GTO.
