Question GTO trailering securing points

I would like to hear from people who regularly tow their GTO on a trailer.

I would like to know where the best hook points are on the chassis of the GTO.

In front there are tie-down points on the uni-body about a foot behind the front tires. But, what about the back?

You'll see the two drop down loops used to secure the rear when you look under the car. Right at the front of the rear wheel wells.

Got a couple pics. But it was raining, and my camera doesn't seem to want to flash. SO here are a couple pics of front and rear poilts I latch onto.

I will take better pics tomorrow night after work. These really do suck.

Front by the radios rods.

Rear is under the x-member by the control arms.

Okay, I get the idea. I would be just a little concerned about pulling in the area by the radius rod.

I'm going to check with the dealership about preferred hook points.

Nah... I don't like that either. If you look even with the front of the front tires you'll see some oblong shaped holes in the front cradle facing outward. I use this and it works very well. You could probably get hooks in there too though.
The rear points can be found just in the front of the rear wheels. They're round holes and I use a regular cast hook in those. Once you find these, there'll be no question it's intended to be tied down that way.

If you place it on the trailer back wards (as I do, because the car is lowered and won't make it up the ramps going forward). Make sure the trunk is closed, or it will get ugly when you reach 52 mph.

Just got it out of the body shop today, $1169.23

IIRC I bought four of these. If you browse around their site a bit you can find just the hooks as well as the tee hooks if that's all you need.

Mine will barely clear in the front on perfectly level ground. I drive the rear wheels of the truck up on Rhino ramps for a bit of insurance. It's a bit of a pain but not as bad as pulling it on in reverse.

I would have liked to use the proper hook points. And normally do. But the car in the pic is an APS twin turbo car. The tow hook hole is cut open and the charge piping goes through it.
