I wouldnt suggest doing that to much with 4.10's. The amount of friction your are creating inside the rear end with those 4.10's is unreal. I wouldnt doubt it if it was seeing temps close to or above 300 degrees.

As a side note. It seems that many factory tachs are off by as much as 300 rpm (mine is). I'm not saying yours is wrong, it may be perfect. Sometimes the tach is not a very good speedometer (and sometimes it is). I'm fairly certain that you have plenty of horse power to turn that MPH.

Hmm I calculated 161.9 mph. firechicken, I wouldn't worry about it with the 9 inch & 3.89 gears. NASCAR uses 9 inch rears and they run 200 mph. As you know I've had mine up to 161 with no problems and that's a 9 inch with 4.11s.

NataSS INC,
Thanks for the info. That's what I was thinking about doing. I just need to find a place to put it.

There is PLENTY of room to tuck it under the rear bumper or to sides of of the bumper. With the built on fan you dont have to have it in the path of direct air flow. so you can even mount it facing the ground back there.
