The spohn mounts ended up mounting the motor very close to where it was with the setback plates. I didn't have to change driveshafts, trans cross member, etc.. Regardless, my truck compressor still has around 3/4" clearance to the frame.
This guy mounted a Sanden down low with Corvette accessories and a blower. I think he used the Alan Grove setup.

I went to the local upull it yard and got alternator and power steering pump on the truck bracket, and the ac compressor all for just under $100...might be cheaper than Ebay. Just an idea

Jimmy, Your blower looks sick! It also looks as tall as my factory intake. Do you know how much hood clearance you had with the truck set up in your Cutlass with the Holley mounts? At first, my hood hit the throttle body and alternator on my L92 due to a known issue with short Energy Suspension body mounts for the radiator support. With 1" aluminum spacers I added, the engine and alt now clears but I'm still worried about little to no clearance combined with engine movement. Aluminum hoods for these cars are rare and they dent easily.

HI guys: Longtime lurker here, but I finally bit the bullet and picked up a 6.0 LQ9 from a local shop. I painted it, then bought a CBM motorsports harness, and am planning to get a CTSV oil pan and dipstick.
However, I'm not sure about accessories. I'd like to have AC someday, and am happy to use stock corvette stuff. Is that a decent plan, or do I need to go out and spend 1500 bucks on accessories? Thanks! Jerry W. 86 Monte SS

Hi Guys: The LS is coming together, still need to find some truck Accys, Throttle cable (Lokar)? with a Kickdown bracket for my 200r4, and an adapter, Camaro Water pump, and an idler pulley I think. I need to start planning the exhaust now. I have Tubular upper A arms which gives me some extra space. Are our options still limited to F body and the new hookers? Any advice much appreciated!
