I said I would post my combo when done, so here it is. Note, I am no dyno racer and I usually measure performance by a car's wt w/driver and the MPH it runs, but I was happy w/the numbers. A few friends and I are racing on Oct 8th, so hopefully I can give a go and see what its all worth.
The Combo:
416 CID LS9
ARP crank/rods/head bolts
CP gas ported 13:1 pistons made from a mold of my heads
Scat Pro Crank/Rods
MAST 265CC small bore LS7 heads (has 4" bore w/LS7 intake ports), 70cc chamber
Comp Cams Solid Roller 254/270-112+0 RT/NC lobes (0.716"/0.731"), lashed cold around 0.004" and 0.008" (lash cuz I know speedtiger is going to ask! jk!).
T&D shaft mount 1.7 roller rockers
Iskendarian solid bushed lifters
Manton 3/8" pushrods, 8.625"
Kook's Long Tubes 1-7/8"
LS7 water pump
Holley Hi-Ram LS7 intake and Holley Fuel rails
LS2 stock 90mm TB
LS7 52lb/hr injectors
VP 110 octane
The motor made 597rwhp/522rwtq. We are looking at this as a baseline to work from.
Very nice numbers .....where were your peak HP & TQ?
Also......love the way that intake peaks through the hood.
KW
thanks. I'll post the graph soon. YEAH. I kind of like the intake peaking through myself...

was told by a guy w/same motor as mine exactly that. he tested his and gained around 10. thats on my to do list.

It's too bad you had to cut the hood for that intake.
Thanks. I'm good w/the hood and in fact kind of like the fact it doesn't look like the other billion Vettes out there. I can not stand the Vette hood scoops so that was out. Throws the body lines off.
Weaknesses in my setup are the TB 90MM and I may have went a little smaller than needed on the cam. 650 is not out of the question for your setup. In fact, I'll wait until you test it before I make any changes.
great results. being solid roller and with those nice heads, that cam is kinda small @ 254*,more like a 246* if it was a hr so something like a 262* would prolly pull to 7k or so. it prolly still carries to 7k cleanly so it will run a good number.
good luck : )
