Has anyone had to replace there's before? is it required to remove the headliner? Or can you get to it by just removing the rear domelight? my fin part is broken off the mount on the roof. Xm still works OK sometime. I got a replacement one and then I noticed the antenna part un screws off of the base. But the one on the roof of my car don't un screw, looks like it has two star bolts holding the piece to the mount.so looks like I just have to change the whole thing and I can't find anything online about it

This is the antenna I have on my roof, I took off them two bolts and that peice wouldnt come off, i was assuming i can just replace that fin part that sticks up, instead of the whole base

So im geussing i gotta remove the dome light and hope i can reach in and unplug the wires without haveing to remove the headliner, since the two antennas are different for some reason. Im guessing cause of different yrs. Stupid xm radio dont like to get signal alot since that peice is missing so i would like to fix it to listen to xm instead of all that crappy fm radio junk music
