Default Trunk light mod

Got the light out of a convertible 98+ Camaro. There’s already a spot in the trunk behind the carpet to mount it just need to cut the carpet in that area. Ran the wires behind the carpet on the driver side and tapped into the wires that come from the roof light and run down near the speaker behind the driver seat.

Cool. Can you take pic further back so we can see where that is? That close-up makes it hard to tell.

Here is my attempt at trunk lighting a while back.

Looking at the parts manual, it appears to list the following parts for this lamp. Did you buy all of this or did you just buy the lamp and improvise?

Shield - 10237021 x 1
Lamp - 19253755 x 2 or 3523031 x 1
Connector - 12125650 x 2
Retainer - 10121502 x 2
