ok so my motor mounts were about 6 inches away from even being close to working so i had to go motor plate which im ok with should stiffen up the car and really bring out the raddles..here are some pics of it so far got the car 4 days ago with 3.8 and started buying parts from there ....the little **** just keeps adding up its ridiculous.
im hoping i can get it to put down around 300 on motor which sucks compared to the little bit of work i did in my ls1 to get 420 to the wheels....but im going to get the car down to around 3000 lbs with me in it hopefully... and the bottle...

zones do u think all that was worth it? 311 hp 350 torque?
I would think u could have rebuilt the LT1 with some better parts and got those #s and not have to change anything, chassis, connectors, etc.

Well, for one, it was a vrry easy swap, for two, i had everything laying around to do the swap and i got to eliminate the piece of **** optispark, THAT in itself was so worth it it made me tear up. You have to remember, this was on a mustang dyno, i am using the smallest vortec intake available and i have the shitty pace setter shortys on it, lets not forget the 102* weather, AND it was even hotter in the shop, it literally felt GREAT to step back outside. I even had 89 octane in the tank, it runs way better on 93. Lets not forget...i dont need a lap top nor a individual to tune my car, everything about it made it worthy. Not to mention i like being different.
The only thing i had to buy was a couple gaskets and a set of valve springs.
I will post the new results when i get the bigger intake and full lengths. A dynojet would have put closer to 350 HP down.
