Anybody know if these two can mate together or not ?

I have a 406 sbc I'm building that I am putting in a 65 Malibu . I have a built 350 Turbo automatic I was planning on using but I really like the 4L60E better . But since its electronic I didn't know if it would work or even mate together .

Will bolt together, but wont work without the electronics. The 4L60 is a electric 700R4 which can be used with not lockup and a kick down cable.

yup. or buy an Art Carr or Turbo Shop stand-alone computer for the '60e.

It won't bolt up if it came from behind an LS1. The converters are different, along with the input, pump stator, and a few other things.
If it didn't come from an LS1 it will bolt right up, you could get a transgo kit to convert it to full manual with vacuum modulation.
Or a just use a 700R4.
