Default Anyone here have a TT 540?

Hi all, I am currently building up a TT540 & was wondering if anyone else here has one or similar size.
This is my 1st big HP turbo build & was interested what you think of the engine combo.

Merlin 10.2 Race block, 4.500" bore, all 5 splayed mains
Crower 4.250" crank (edited)
Olivar steel rods
JE custom pistons
Trend tool steel pins
RHS Pro Topline 360cc alloy heads
Edelbrock Victor Ram converted to EFI
Veilside 100mm t/b
Jesel belt drive
Mallory front drive distributor
MSD ignition
twin Tial bov
twin Tial 60mm w/g
twin Master Power Hi-Flo GT-45
160lb/hr injectors
Waterman cable driven intank pump
full roller valve train but I havn't made a cam selection yet.

Any comments or advice is welcomed as there aren't any engines like this in our country so I gues i'm the guinnea pig.

Looks like a good setup aside from running a 4.25 crank (then itll be a 540, unless you want 572, in which case go all out and do 632)
I recently have been looking at building up a 540 (Large single rather than twins) and am going to use the Dart Big M Block, either Dart Pro1 Alum heads or Pro-Filer Sniper BBC Ported heads. What size turbos are you going to be running? I was personally looking at the Precision Turbo PT114

What are you going to use for computer? Im still debating carbbed or MegaSquirt.

Doh! I feel a bit stupid... sorry it is 4.250".

I feel quite lucky really as Kenny Duttweiler gave me alot of advice & pretty much told me what to buy.
I have a friend here who owns a V8 Performance Shop so he imports my parts for me at his cost +10%; pretty good really. But the cost is still pretty wicked, NZD$4400 just for the block.

Like I said, there isn't an engine over here like this so I have to go offshore for advice but i'm getting there...slowly.
I dont really know what ECU to use yet, there are so many options but I definately cant afford a Motec... that's $12k here.
It's similar to my old car though, I knew what times I wanted to run then built a car that would do the job...& it did it nicely.
It will remain a fully street legal car here; all steel body, power windows, lights, wipers, etc.
I reckon it will be no more than 3400lb worst case scenario as all the chassis work is only mild steel tube, & I hope to run mid to low 7's over the 1/4.
I will be putting a powerglide behind it, probably a Coan with billet convertor through to a braced 9" with 40 spline axles. I have a set of Weld Magnums for the strip, 15x5 & 15x15 with 33x16x15 slicks.
Another friend who is an aluminium & stainless fabricator is building an ice to air i/c for the strip work.

Damn, $4400 just for the block (Or is that in NZD money, then its about $3300 USD. Still a lot). For that much, We could go Donovan over here.

Yes, that.s NZD.
The trans & convertor is costing me just under $12k NZD

Our dollar is so crap it's almost destroying our Dragracing fraternity here. Normally if one of the top cars (rail, f/c, doorslammer) has a big engine mishap here it's not back for the season because of the cost to repair. There are so many dragcars sitting in sheds here it's not funny... quite sad really.
