Default shop in arkasas??

ok, i recently had LT's put on my car and the TD setup from TSP to. I took it to pulk performance, big mistake, when i went pick my car up the end of the exaust was almost two inches off the ground and he had cut part of the dumps off cause it was even lower. i argued with him that it wasnt on right and he insisted that that was the only way it would go on, and i asked him if he tuned it and deleted the codes and he said it was fine and that it didnt need a tune. iasked him several times to delete the codes i guess he doesnt like money cause i told him i would pay him to do it. anyways when i got the car home me and my dad backed the car on to car ramps and had to grind the welds off of the exaust hangers cause he welded them, but we finaly got it to fit right and made him re weld it.

Anyways now i am lookin for a place or someone to tune it.
where do all yall guys from arkansas get yalls motor work done and get yall stuff tuned at??
thanks in advance
barry

all I've heard is bad things about Polk Performance. Kinda sad really... There's actually a new shop here in Sherwood, it's on Khiel. It's new and up and coming, not sure if they do tuning though. But ya, Rhino79 tune FTW.

Why didn't you try Arkansas Performance Exhaust in Sherwood? They would even weld on an O2 bung(wideband tuning) for a small fee.

APE has mandrel bend machine to do custom exhaust work.

if you are willing to drive to Memphis, there is a new shop opening up in March. www.spectaclesolutions.com

the website isnt completed yet, but you will get the idea of what we are all about.

Tony Duncan (formerly of F.A.S.T.) will be doing our tuning. There is simply no one better in the industry.

our prices will be very fair and our customer service will be top notch.

if you dont mind the drive, give us a shout.

I don't think Polk has the software to tune ls1's yet anyway.

Whats that mean? I have never had anything but good work from Polk and have spent alot more than you guys there.

As for the Headers, is your car lowered, do you have before and after pics. I have done exhaust on many F-bodies and there isn't much room at all, my TA is about 2.5 inches off the ground.

Thats kind-off what I was thinking. If your longtubes are to low, its the headers or the ride hieght, not the installation.

It's not his headers that are low, it's the duals. TSP duals can be made to tuck nicely, even with a lowered car.

There are no duals that will tuck "nicely" under an F-body, work yes but tuck nicely is a stretch, especially lowered cars. Also if you put cheap headers on (not saying these were) the clearance is completely different than other headers.

it would scrape when you got on it? lol damn. First make a photobucket account at photobucket.com. Then upload your pics from your computer onto photobucket. Lastly, after the pics have uploaded, copy the Image url then paste it in the actual box where your typing your thread on Ls1tech.
