I've had it since about the middle of last year. My Z28 was totaled due to flood damage last March, so I decided to replace it with this lol. I'm loving it so far. It only had 38k on it when I bought it. It has most of the basic bolt ons, and I just added a Vararam CAI last month. I'm hoping to go with either heads/cam or some sort of forced induction within the next few months.

How've you been doing anyway?

Yeah, Quick Silver is one of my favorite colors on Z's. I don't think I'll ever get rid of it, unless I come up on a sick deal on a c6z.

It feels 10 times faster lol. Before my Camaro got totaled I had long tubes, true duals, and all the other basic bolt ons and that car felt pretty quick. But with about the same amount of mods, the Z feels like it's in a completely different class. And it handles like a go cart too lol. After I get some new tires and my MGW, I plan on taking it to the track to see what it can do.

Well if you can afford it, I would say go with the C6Z. It's a completely different car. I've been in a few and you can feel the difference. I don't know if you care about mileage or not, but I've seen them for as low as 34K.

And I agree with you about the whole computer thing in C6Zs. I couldn't imagine being on a road course with all that stuff assisting me. It seems that the more that automotive technology progresses, the less actual driving people have to do lol.

The C5 is definitely more "muscle car", but the C6 is a better car in almost every way.

But, I still like C5's better. When I get another Corvette it'll be an 01-04 Z06.

How much stuff interchanges between the c5z and c6z? Can you swap calipers and rotors fairly easy, that type stuff.
