Option code 1SH on the door. Comes with 3.23 axle package, key fobs, emblems, power steering cooler. Could not be ordered with WS6 or Firehawk. Only came in White, Black, Red, Pewter. White is the rarest.

One more owner here with only 14,000 miles. Black 2000 M6 with mods listed in sig.

For the person who said that there were only 67 or so made in 2002, I think that number is wrong. That year was the most popular because people were snapping up any sort of potential "rare" option due to it being the last F-body year. For some reason I remember there being over 600 built in 2002 with the first year (2000) being the smallest year with 217 built and the second year (2001) number falling somewhere in between. Of course this is all based on my memory so don't get too excited if I'm contradicting something else you've read.

I've called Pontiac Historical to get a breakdown on the 1SH option code (colors, TA's vs Formulas, etc), but they were not able to help. There used to be some really nice stats and numbers listed on a dedicated NHRA web site, but they never got enough members to keep it going. LS1.com also used to have a dedicated NHRA forum, but no one ever posted so I'm guessing that's why they removed it.

Anyway, good to see some others out there.

Take care,

Pretty much. Nothing you couldn't get on a WS6. What makes these cars unique is the low factory production numbers since they DID have a factory code... something the other "rare" TA's can't claim. Just my .02
