You' re thinking of Bright Green Metallic, and Bright Blue Metallic. Ofcourse those font colors are way the **** off, but it' s the best I could do.

The '99 colors they didn't offer for the WS6 were Medium Blue Metallic, and Blue-Green Chameleon.

It is Bright green metallic and that was a 98 color. And I know for a fact you couldn't get a MRM, which I think is medium or maple red metallic as a WS.6 in 99

That's true, but not for the reason you think... you couldn't get a '99 WS6 in that color because MRM (Maple Red Metallic) is a '00-up color, it wasn't available in '99.

Cars That Are Broke Down By Color Of The Top And Body Is ****. Who Cares How Many Where Purple Or Black. What We Are Talking About Is How Many Cars In General Built Of A Certain Model. Just Because A Car Is Painted A Certain Color Does Not Raise Its Value. Look At The Auctions. The Only Options That Count Is Motor And Trans Not Color. The Auctions Are Kruse And Barret Jackson. A Tan Top Does Not Make A Car Rare Because Someone Chose Not To Use That Color.

Au contraire my bandito friend. Many times color is mentioned as a factor of rarity. Also color may be the ultimate determining factor in the buyer's mind. For instance, Plum Purple wasn't very popular during the muscle car era because many thought it was a little too "gay". Not so today.

That Was Then. I Am Talking About Now. People Are Saying That A Car Was Rare Because It Has A Tan Top And Interior. You Are Right To A Point. Rarity Is For Options On A Certail Car. Unless You Have A Build Sheet Or Window Sticker You Can Paint A Car And No One Will Know The Diff. Options Like Motors And Trans Are By Vin#. What I Think Is That People On This Thread Are Amking Excuses For A Certain Car Because It Has A Tan Top Or Somthing Like That.

Well then let's talk about now. Find me a '99 Hugger Orange 1LE for the same price as any other comparable '99 SS and I'll pay you a thousand dollar finder's fee.
Until I see the car (HOSS) <--the car, not you, I rest my case.

has anyone mentioned the 2, 1992 25th aniversary Herritage thirdgens? they were RS's with ZF 6 speeds, a warmed up 350 with prototype TPI runners, black GTA wheels with a polished lip.. herritage strips,.. 350hp and did mid 13's in the 1/4 mile only 2 were made, bean counters at GM put a stop on it since they cost $25k...

they were featured in a GM High Tech Performance issue last year..

sorry.. i didnt want to read all 17 pages of this thread...

I think we covered that one a few pages ago... and it's always someone with a car that's black, or red, or something..

But actually, I do have the build sheets and window stickers for my cars, along with all the other data on them.

Since this thread is still going I still have to Vote for the 89 Turbo TA to be the rearest F-Body. I mean you cant call a Paint scheme rare or a transmision option a rare car. The turbo trans am is a rare car through and through!

The rarest one ever produced at a GM plant was Pete Estes 68 vert Z28,one of one.As far a the rest of them it's a subjective question, and impossible to answer definitively.
