First generation ZL1 Camaros were built by GM in 1969. Sixty nine cars were produced.

Fourth generation ZL1 Camaros were built by GMMG with a factory warranty in 2002. Around 69 were built.

Fourth gen owners will chime in if they think this thread is worthy...............

Exactly 69 numbered cars were built plus three (3) prototypes of which one went to General Motors (Chevrolet), one went to Berger Chevrolet in Grand Rapids, Michigan and one went to Helen Gibb in LaHarpe, Illinois.

Thank you...................but I would probably have to defer to Andy (Xsta Z 28) here on this forum board. He is VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE on the GMMG cars plus he has a couple of very special cars himself, a Electron Blue Berger SS and a Hendrick LT4 30th Anniversary SS.
