Default MTI Tuning Group Purchase anyone?

Jayson at MTI has agreed to a GP on tuning. The price will be $350 & is for regular tuning & will last until March 15 2003. He will give you a free dyno pull after the tune also. This does not include wideband tuning but if you want wideband tuning, you can get it for an additional fee. This is for the 'lifetime' tune, so if you change your setup or you need your existing tune tweaked, you can get it retuned at no additional charge. This is for both locals that want to bring in their cars and for people that wish to mail in their ECU. Contact Jayson at MTI for more details on sending in the ECU for mail order tuning. Contact MTI if you have any other questions!

Is anyone up for a MTI group purchase on tuning? I'm sure several of you, like myself, got some goodies for Xmas & have em put on by now & would like to get a good tune before racing season starts. What do you say Jayson? I'm a little strapped after all the goodies I just bought & put on. Can you hook a Houstonian up I really don't want to drive up to Dallas or anywhere else to tune & hear great things about MTI's tuning. But when it comes down to it, I gotta save every $ I can, so, if there is some interest, would you consider a GP on tuning, please?

Also, a question, does the normal price of $500 include dyno/wideband tuning for the first tune? I read that the additional tunes are for no charge but you pay for dyno time, I'm unclear if you get dyno tuned the first time. Any clarification would be appreciated almost as much as a price break on your tuning, Aslo, how much to install gears? Thanks MTI!

Jayson at MTI is the best. He has spent alot of time tuning my car. She runs great! I have the X1 cam with A4 so that should tell you something about tuning it. They put my whole car together! Great service and good people make a great team! MTI!

N20 or FI tuning starts at 750 including the tuning...but if anyone has ever tried to tune a FI car or big shot N20 car they realize that it takes 2x as long to get the car right.

I just got the 500 tuning and absolutely love it!! I had some issues with the Tranny program once I got to driving the car...I emailed Jayson as soon as I got home (about 5pm) and had an email from him by 7pm telling me to come by anytime the following day for him to tweak the tune. I showed up, Sat morning...MTI's busy as all get out...Jayson got to me w/in 10min, listened to me...made the corrections walked out front plugged in the laptop uploaded the new program and told me to go test drive.....I never came back my grin was EAR TO EAR...car has never pulled so smoothly thru the gears and just kept me playin with helpless mustangs all day long.

All in all I was there for maybe 30min on saturday morning....SERVICE IS GREAT.

I too want to sing the praises, but not all of us can afford to buy a C5 & have it trailered straight from the dealer to MTI......but I do believe in doing stuff right the first time, that's why I'd REALLY like to see a GP on tuning

I agree. Jayson has the tuning down. These LS1s can be a bit testy sometimes, but his tuning has made my car shine like a new penny. Oh yeah, before I forget.......MTI rocks!!!

Would MTI be worth driving down from Ft. Worth? I am getting a cam install as soon as I can decide on where to do it (tunning too.) I know MTI rocks, so if you get a GP my decision is made.

I could be mistaken but MTI has inovated lots of the LS1/6 mods. I know that all the guys around my area that have MTI cars HAUL *** so they must be doing something right. I'd say it's worth the drive, just set it up so you can go to HRP & get some passes in & hang out with some of the Houston guys.

Any word from Jayson on this?

Marc call Jayson and ask him if they will do it and how many people do you need. I would join in, but I already have it. Jayson really knows his stuff when it comes to LS1Edit.

I have to get a tune within the next couple of weeks! If there's going to be a GP on it even better. You can count me in!

I'd be happy to help you guys out. Let's find out how many guys are interested and I'll take care of everyones car individually. My schedule is a little hectic before the Spring Break Shootout, but I'll accomodate everyone I can prior to the event. I'll also be at the event with LS1Edit for anyone needing quick adjustments.

Please e-mail me at JaysonMTI@aol.com and I will work with each and every one of you to get your cars tuned out perfectly.

I just need to get my gears in. I have a friend that will do it for me, but if he doesn't have time I'll just let MTI do it before the tune. I can't wait, I'm sure Jayson will do a great job. They should know just how to tune it since I'm running their B1 cam Even without the tune, I LOVE the cam! I did LT's, ORY, & the B1 all at the same time, talk about waking the car up!

So what is the "great Deal" that y'all are talking about? I can't afford $500 yet, but maybe a little something for a quike tune if there is such a thing.

The price is $350 for a tune. He will give you a free dyno pull at the end of the tune. Wideband/Dyno tuning is not included but can be done at an additional fee. The cut off date will be March 15th. This is for the 'Lifetime' tune, so when you do more mods or if you need a bit more tweaking after you go drive on your new tune, you can have it tweaked/retuned at no additional charge.

Is this price also for mail order tuning? I would be in if so. Thanks

I'm not sure, email Jayson JaysonMTI@aol.com.

I'm sorry I didn't ask about that, MTI is local for me so it didn't come to me that some others might want to mail tune. Just drop him a line & mention this thread, I'm sure he can hook you up. I would think it would be easier since he can do it before or after business hours & not have to worry about scheduling so much.
