Default 2000z28 vs 2003 cobra pullied

so yes i finally got my first death.

the cobra mods: pullied with full boltons ported blower and a tune

my car 2000 z28 a4 longtube pacesetters full exaust stalled lid descreened maf with a baby cam

first run dig were doing the quarter mile both on street tires. i get the hit he follows i launch hard and berly squeak my tires. he sits for a second and by 55 i have three cars on him and by the 1/8 he flys by me and puts around 7 cars on me. we do it one more time from a dig he gets kinda sideways and i launch decently. he still put 2 cars on me by the end. we do rolls 2 30s and i stay with him for a couple of seconds and baaam!!! he just runs away both times. well i think its time for my 346 to become a 383. he was a very cool guy though

Honorable death man. Ported blower Terminators are no joke, lol.

A 383 should help even it all out though. Or a bigger cam and some spray.

Considering he's probably putting at least 100 more hp to the ground you did pretty well. If tuned right, that Cobra was pushing at least 500 and could have been as much as 550 to the ground. Considering your mods and his I actually think he should have walked you harder.

550 without an aftermarket blower? I'm not a Cobra guy, but from the numbers I've seen from Cobra owners on here, that seems a tad high.

Nice death, man. He's easily over 500 to the wheels so the results are dead on to me. Throw some juice on it with a bigger cam and go hunting.

Nice death. A well ported/pullied/tuned Cobra can make 500-540rwhp and trap over 125mph so if you were even close you're lucky. The most I have heard from a Steg stg 5 ported eaton was 540rwhp. Very difficult cars to launch and it will take a full 1320 to apply the power and shift it properly.

I'm making right at 500 right now and my car has a really old port on it (89th one that stiegmier did). I'm hoping after a stg 5 upgrade and a 4lb lower it will make mid 500's. It runs pretty good but a LS motor on a shot of the juice would give it a good run.
