So tonight I was out driving around enjoying myself and decided to get the G-Tech out and make a couple passes south of town just to pass some time. After i made my second pass a car in the distance started pulling up hard and about a mile down the road they caught up or maybe i should say she caught up. So it was a hot blonde in a R/T Challenger. It was dark blue and it was a six speed. I figured hey this will be the best i can get tonight most likely considering its a monday so i down shift and give her a jump. She looks over with a blank face and looks back forward. So i figured it was just some gal out in her old mans car. I continue on down the road to the stop light at the edge of town. She pulls up next to me and i give her a smile and she rod checks it at me and then proceeds to stall it up and wait until the light turns green! I quickly pull it back into first and wait. The light turns green and she dumps the clutch and jumps out about a car. She hooked up very well and i was walking it out a ways before i punched it. I punch it on top of 1st gear and start pulling back hard. Meanwhile ole girl in the R/T is powershifting the living hell out of it! So after i picked my bottom lip up off the floorboard and shifted I was pulling back HARD and she quickly lets out! At first i wasnt worried about it and i pull up to the next light and shes halfway across the car saying haha looks like i got you! I said oh no no sweetheart you run a full quarter mile and we will see about that. So she agrees and stalls up and the light goes green and this time i walked it out a little better but she still got the jump. I finally hook and start to reel her in and she stays into it once again slamming gears! I pass her about mid way through second gear and give her a cute little wave and keep going til about 120 and let out with her about 4 cars behind me. She pulls up to the next light about a mile and a half ahead and shrugs her shoulders and just smiles. I then motion for her to pull over and she hits the signal and turns off!!! So maybe i didnt have the charm tonight but hey i still got the kill...

should have let her win again...may have got you somewhere. You might have got the kill but looks like it killed your chance with hottie in the RT as well

good kill--- the r\t's arent much. just try not to let an srt8 get the better of you out of the hole cause you might not catch up

let's just say they trap between 108-112 depending on auto or stick; hell, if they bump the power next year. I would consider one. 475-500hp from a 6.1 sound like fun to me.

doesn't matter, average ls1 traps 104-108, srt-8s averages are faster, period.

Besides even the new camaro SS is heavy. and it traps 110-113

I work for a mixing center so i ship and recieve CHallenger Rt and Srt8's and yes there is a huge difference between the Rt's 5.7L 375hp horse hemi and the 6.1L 420 hp Srt8. they aqre alot of fun to drive and the srt8 would definately make my heart thump if i was beside one at a light. . . .
