Default 01 cammed ss vs. shelby gt500 tt and blown

01 pewter ss- cam only, street tune, no nitrous

shelby gt500- hellion tt kit on top of stock supercharger, 12lbs


gave me a length and the hit. i won, end of story.


fill free to ask questions on how in the heck i won. believe me, i was stunned myself.

This story was riveting.... reading the story i just hung on every word. You should write novels!

I would say that you ran across the worst drivier...in the world .... and he must have had traction issues and missed a shift or 2. Good kill though, winning is winning.

lol. well i just didnt feel like telling a storry. not a big one at that. we lined up, of course me a car ahead. i left, he left, both spinning, me on c5 z06 18's with mt's, him on bogarts with mt's. my car runs good. he was pulling me hard on the other end. his intake pipe popped off, got it reclamped, decided to up the boost to 17 lbs, went maybe 30 feet and it popped off again. i'm sure we will run again. mine is auto. he didnt miss any gears. just isnt easy putting 700 plus to the ground like you can a 400 plus car. i'd hate to see what would happen on spray.

that was my first thought, supercharger and twins? why in the world and how? seems pointless or you messed with a showcar lol that hasnt been tuned.

It can be done. I'll have to see if I can find the link a member sent me for the ZL 1000. Its a ZR1 that maintains Factory S/C'r and adds twin turbos. I'd imagine the SC'r eliminates waiting for the Turbo's to spool up, and then when the Turbos are making boost, LOOK OUT ! Just speculating of course.

There is a company called Hellion that makes twin turbo kits for the 03/04 cars and the GT-500 that allows them to keep the blower, theyre pretty sick. Good kill op.
