No prob.

Yeah 3.73's really wake those cars up, as well as a good mid-pipe, cold air & tune. Those mods alone should put you in the mid to low 13's with traction. I'm curious to know how your build turns out so make sure to keep us posted!

I'd do the heads before the boost, unless you're doing all the work. Pulling that kit back off and reinstalling it after the heads will be 'inefficient'. But that's how my mind works. LOL

YOu can pick up used ATi's for low $2k pending head unit and 'extras'. GL man.

Well I have stg3 ported TFS 2v heads, and of course everything else in the book. Still stock bore and stroke (I regret I did not do something about tht) but kevin you seem to really take to these heads lol so I'll be sure and let you know what kind of #s I put down when its all put 2gether. But I can tell you I'm already regretting it, if I had to do it over again I'd do a ls1 swap in my 02 gt, now tht would be a real sleeper lol.

But I think it'll be a good motor you guys can begin to put in perspective of what a N/A 2v mod motor is capable of, but without losing it's drivablity. Now of course I'll have dope, because lets face it, a n/a 2v would be slow lol, but the dope should hold me off till the f1-r and then I just might be able to keep up with a stock ls1.

Do you really have to write stang?
That's just as bad as camaro or termi.
Is a second syllable or typing a couple extra letters that hard?
It just sounds so stupid...
Also, the keep um's, yall's, do's instead of due, and i's don't help...

As for your claim that an LS3 SS won't blow the doors off an equally modded S197, how do you figure that?
Last I checked, an LS3 SS is quicker than a stock S197. People have already gone 12's in stock LS3 SS's.
Also, if you check out how strong tuned and light bolt-on LS3 C6's are running, you would notice that it doesn't take much to dyno over 400 to the wheels with them.
The 5.0 S197 should change things a bit, but it isn't even out yet...

Lastly, your friend should be able to touch mid to high 12's at about 112mph in his stock LS2 C6.
I would assume your S197 is close to that, but proof would help.
Then again, what does an LS2 C6 have to do with an LS3 5th gen?
Maybe I missed something.

You say with intake, tune, and dr's they can get in the 12's. Maybe you need to actually look before you comment.

Of course a complete LS swap would be FASTER.. bigger engine in a lighter car. I would never say otherwise. The heads are neat. First time a 2v n/a can actually make decent N/A power without having to spend 10k in parts and labor.

Exactly. You'll gain MPG too
