Default Integra pulls GT mustang

I was cruisin around in the piece o crap integra the other night when a punk in a 2000 era gt mustang tried to race me. I had snow tires on and was only running 4psi. He slowed back down and we raced from 20mph to 65mph and I pulled a fender on him. Wish I would've had the 7psi spring in could have made him ridiculous. Cant wait till spring to pull out the Shuvel!

VTEC*. And a GS-R @ 4psi with bolt-ons still wouldn't be "slow."

I don't doubt at all that a turbo Integra @ 4psi could pull a PI GT slightly... stock GS-R is ~140whp and runs low 15s @ ~92mph. Full bolt-ons pulls it up to 170mph, and 4psi should put it close enough to be slightly quicker than a stock PI GT. As sad as it sounds.

Ugh

there has to be better action somewhere.

It's cold up here,
what about the rest of parts where it's warm, no action either?

Not that either are very quick, but I've seen basic all motor cars out trap stock PI GT's. They only turn high 70s in the 1/8th stock.

i never said they was fast lol. i just said i know how they run and doubt a vtec or whatever it was could beat it lol. my gt had offroad xpipe and flowmasters and run 8.63 at 80 on slicks though.

Most basic turbo Hondas I see trap mid 80s. Then again I only live about 30mins from RLZ, so that may not be the norm everywhere else.

Did you mean to say with bolt ons an integra could hit 170mph?

Im pretty sure he meant 170hp with just bolt on's That's not counting a turbo kit, or an engine built to handle more then 9psi of boost.

Well did you ever have a turbo+vtec car?

Then you dont know how they run.

This race is very believable. The acuras are very light and VTEC+boost is a stout little combo. 4psi plus bolt ons seems like a very good race for a stock GT. On 7psi it would be murder.
