raced a geo storm... yep, not in the camaro but the durango lol. here's the mini story. we were in our local fred meyer parkin lot with my mother driving (im 13) and I'm always looking for someone to race but anyway I see some punk in what i didnt know at the time but a geo storm and we were trying to miss the traffic and shot in front of everyone on the highway
So we take a quick cut thru the parking lot and there's two ways to get out go left then right and exit or go straight and left and exit we took straight and i noticed the geo was haulin the other almost half way thru the lot so i yell nail it but she insisted in going maybe half throttle and we got almost to the exit pretty quick (quicker then him) but had to hit the brake to avoid hitting people in the parking lot but i looked over and it looked like the kid was cussin us out because some mom whooped his ricer azz. It was close to a loss for us but he was again already half way thru the parking lot.
anyway here's a lil info about the geo storm, it was a 92-93, hatchback/coupe, probaly a gsi with 140hp if not 100hp, the car it self was a rusty red, ugly *** red ripped up tint, and just ugly looking.
info about our durango, 02 slt+ 4.7 magnum/powertech with 240hp/300torque, full body weight has every option so a good 6k curb weight, 64k miles and no performance mods. it WILL push you a bit in your seat with a bit of throttle and at full throttle it will pratically make you crap yourself atleast me im used to our old fat azz expedition and escort zx2.
sorry its not much of a story and no vid it happened so quick but i'll try to get something better next time. hey im kinda exited not everyday you get to race in a durango there fast suv's for having a smaller v8 and fully loaded.
sorry its nothing to do with a ls1 baded car but i figured the geo is a GM car and looks like a really bad copy of a 93-97 camaro.
here's a list of what we have raced 90% of them were stop light's
beat up poor ol 4cyl or v6 thirdgen camaro
late 90's early 2000's subaru forester (turbocharged)
some harley
geo storm
2008ish honda accord v6
and a few more I cant think of
all were wins exept the accord which was on the highway and didnt see him tell he was to our door with him at full throttle so wasnt really a race. the rest were all stoplight racing and only about 3/4 throttle if that much.

thank you someone's actually got something nice to say. anyway ya no school tomorrow, its only 10pm here, and im more of a night owl then a early bird just a few hours will let me be good to go plus i just slept for like 4hours lol. and yes i still get decent grades and were not no god damn crackheads lol

yep nothing much will be going on for either other then washing/waxing as money's tight and i cant get a job for a yr or two and if i get a small job in the summer some of it will probaly be going to rent and such sorry for the extra talk. plus dont exept any race stories with the camaro for another 2-3yrs.

haha ya we live in a pink freakin duplex and its $850 a month for which should cost maybe $500 a month. freakin rip off but no where else to live and i sure in hell aint gonna live in a dam apartment im worried enought about dents and scratches in my durango i dont want some bratty little kids doing nothin to her. what i ment is me pitching in for rent,utilities,gas etc...

Dude in all seriousness the kills you listed aren't really much of a kill. I'm sure it was fun for you though. We all like winning a race. Relax a little bit. You can't expect to be taken seriously when you post up about killing a Geo. No offense.

ya you were "18" im 13 so what kind of job am i suppose to get with this economy? and im not going be driving around a 500hp beast that gets 2mpg when my family and I can barley live. and i know alot more about live then most 13,14,15 etc. yr old kids out there im not some kid that gang bangs or acts like a 8yr old.

I get what you mean and i wished others would relize you aint going get much action with a suv and you just dont have 80k to get a vette im just tired of people thinking because im just a kid im just some dumbazz that doesnt know anything. If i knew people were going be like this i wouldnt of said anything i know just because im 13 i shouldnt be treated special or anything but people need to realize not everyone is rich.

When you come into a site based on generally LSx and LTx vehicles, with a couple of the cooler Mustang guys (who have V8's mind you), and post up a kill of a car with 100hp that my 03 Eclipse GS winter beater which is pathetically slow would probably beat, you are going to catch some ******* comments. Also, a Durango is not fast by any means so idk about the whole "pin you in the seat thing". Probably mid 8 second 0-60... maybe mid 16's in the quarter? Its ok though, I remember being young and thinking my 03 Eclipse with a short-ram intake was a beast... haha
I'm assuming you live with your parents? Why would they make you pay rent? And btw, do the mowing the neighbors lawns job, thats what I did when I was your age, and made bank doing it!
