5.0 took out another, couldn't even tell if he was racing.

5.0 took out another, couldn't even tell if he was racing. Well it was a bright sunny 65 degrees today. Just had washed the car yesterday so she was looking as good as a 15 year old car can look. 
I decided to drive the car over to the girl's house which is a nice 45 min drive. Today I couldn't have cared if it was double the distance, I was just enjoying the car and thinking SURELY I'd have to run into someone! A Camaro maybe...Cobra...atleast another GT! Turned out not a damn thing! 
Now this is nothing new to me! Anytime I drive my car or I'm driving a performance car in general it seems everyone stays at home. Now you let my g/f take out her Mach 1 and she runs across packs of T/As, 03 Cobras, you name it. 
Well coming home it was 44 degrees. I was just taking my time listening to the radio. I had come to terms with I wasn't going to run into anyone worth racing. Well about 4 miles from my house I see a red 99-04 Saleen pull out of the gas station. NO!! I think to myself.
But yes it was true. I know this Saleen. He has HID's and he is friends with a little group of guys that own a couple 03 Cobras and Mach1s. Well I slowly creep past him in 6th gear with my exhaust humming.
As I pass I see him looking over at my car. The first thing through his mind had to be seeing my 8000k HIDs coming up along side him. Then he noticed I was a Mustang. Then if he was smart he would have seen the horizontal tails and noticed I was a 5.0 (but I doubt this part). Finally he noticed the license plate...."UD LUZE".
I knew the second he saw this because he came flying up along side me. Well I was turning right and he was going straight but we were at the redlight. I'm in a turn only lane so I was thinking this might not happen.
Well I throw a gentle rev at him. Nothing scary. But when I rev I'm looking over at him through my 15% tint. As soon as I do I see him jump up on his steering wheel and see if the coast is clear. It is and here he comes!
Light turns green and we go. I take it easy around the turn and so does he. We are going about 20mph and he revs his car up and dumps the clutch so he can get sideways and almost comes over and hits me! Easy killer!! Well he gets slightly ahead and does it again. 
We get up the road some and its a dark clear 4 lane highway. Your *** is grass... I turn off the radio and crack my windows. His is cracked and we are side by side. I'm in 3rd gear @ 4,500rpms and he is...IDK I can't hear him. Well I start to honk. On the 3rd honk we punch it and there he goes....By the top of 3rd gear he was probably 7 to 10 carlengths back. I hit 4th gear but let off at 80mph and hit the brakes HARD because some cars are coming and I didn't want one to be a cop. At this point he is seriously 1/8th a mile back. I slow down to 40mph in a 45 zone but he wouldn't come along side me. He turns off and goes back the other way. 
I have no idea what is done to the car except for a loud exhaust from hearing it before. Hopefully his car is stock with mufflers because that was the worst beating I have given in a long long long time.

How could you put 7-10 car lengths on him in the range of 2000 rpms in the same gear...? That couldn't have been more than two seconds tops...serious question. But aside from that great story, and great kill!
I'm also glad to see some other people on this board have also attended a grammar class or two in their lifetime

I got friends at Trickflow. They said if they made heads for your truck there would be no transmission out there that would handle the power. So they don't make them as of yet.

With the other cam my car made 456rwhp N/A in 80 degree heat. So I am leaving alot of power on the table with this little bitty cam. But the car drives like I wanted it to and I get the gas mileage I wanted.
Its 40 miles one way to her house and going there and back took me less than $10 worth of gas. So badass!

Good kill! It's nice to see that some kills are starting to pop up that are worth reading about. I have a feeling that this year is gonna be badass! Either that or I will blow my clutch again early in the year and end up sitting this one out too
