My 99 vette with bolt ons and untuned at the time vs 03 cobra. Cobra guy claims it had a 3.0 pulley and cold air intake. I was suprised with my car I thought I was going to get walked low and behold it was dead even until cobra missed 3rd. Oh well a win is a win. Some fellow ls1 members took videos and posted it. month or so old just got bored and decided to post it.

it kinda did I guess it was the angle but we was neck and neck until he miss third. He was wanting another one but everybody ran due to a firetruck.

yeah I got tinted tail lights We may have raced I did run a black supercharged gt.
Are you the supercharged one I ran on the highway with whitbe and them. You said we could race if I didnt spray. But I didnt have the spray ready yet.

Yeah, that was me. Wasn't that I said we could race if you didn't spray, I just asked what all you had done and you mentioned the nitrous but it wasn't hooked up (or maybe tuned for it). But yeah, your car runs pretty damn good. Its a lot faster then I thought it would be, of course I have to hand it to you for racing from 40mph in 1st gear. I was really impressed that you weren't going from 2nd. After the race I really did wanna run you from a lower roll so your 1st gear wouldn't be as high in the power band and I could down shift to 1st :-) but at that point it would just be trying to put more space between us. Have you ran it with the nitrous yet?

It just wasnt tuned yet and had no timing pulled thats why I wasnt spraying that night. Thats the thing about the vettes they are highway geared like crazy. The only thing with you in first with that power and gears you would of probally had a spin fest If you were on streets. I still like dig racing the best. Yeah I finally got it tuned and got to spray a couple weeks ago. I didnt know what all you had done to your car I just thought it just had the vortech and that was it. Yeah I finally got a tune and sprayed it.

Yeah I think if the kid in the blue cobra would of hit 3 rd he might of finally come around me. I know them cobras stock put down about 350 to 360 to the tire. And I believe he said he had a 3 inch pulley and intake dont think he had a exhaust so I think hes probally putting down around 380 to the ground.

I don't know about that... I have ran Dakota (Green Bullitt with Termi swap) and before he went to a 2.87 pulley I pulled him by 1/2 a car. He pulled the Blue Cobra by 3/4 of a car I believe. When you and I ran you from 40 it was about a car on you. Should be a pretty even race where you might edge him on the top end because of aero.

When we raced there was a lot of stuff that wasn't done to my car. Glad you got it tuned! When we raced I was on stock suspension and no boost a pump (allows me to rev to 6300 instead of 5800).
