Default 2009 Cobalt SS/TC vs 2002 Camaro SS

His mods are bolt ons, tuned to 22psi. My car 224 cam, LTs, TD's, 4.10s, LID, bellows, 4.10s.

This was a 30 roll, as you can see I got a bout 1 1/2 cars on him before his **** fucked up. He is very quick from a 45 I was only about a car on him but as soon as I hit 4th I started walking him hard but he let off around 90ish.

I wish I could get the local Cobalts to run me from 30mph. They always wanna do 45ish.
Good kill, literally!

Were you in second gear? I couldn't hear a quick shift and with those 4.10s, first should be pretty high at 30mph (doable, just high with a quick shift).

im always itchen....i have a few kills on here but it takes a lot to ge any attention.
i was eating today and staring at it out the window. i figured why i never ge any action. most people see the "SS" and prolly figure its just another of GM's overbadged Slew of daily drivers (impala, maibu, etc) adthink nothing of it, mush less that it traps 105

i have yet t line up with an Srt

Ya I left it in second, I am still learning the 4.10s lol only like a month old, but I really need a short throw shifter, it takes 2-3 seconds to shift it feels like.

Ya his car is really stong, from 45 rolls they are beasts. When we went top end I started walking him hard but before that he was like 1/2 a car on me. When we did a 30 I just took off.

But he said when his turbo would spool up started making a really loud and fast clicking noise?

The first thing I do anytime I put new gears in a car (or new transmission with different gearing, or just a new car altogether ) is go out and find all of the maximum speeds I can downshift to each gear and memorize them, assuming I have traction. Then I do the same thing only trying to find out where the traction problems are and where the really bad dead spots are.

Aside from being able to shift the ***** off it (or not if you're an auto), that's one of the best "mods" you can do with a car. And it's free.
