There is an EVO X RS, but it's only available in Japan.
There has been talk from Mitsubishi about bringing it to the US though.

Intake - $200
Exhaust - $400?
Injectors - $400
Fuel Pump -$300
Intercooler with Intercooler Pipes - $300
Ecutek - $500
GSC Cam gears - $240
Pump Gas
Ported Turbo w/ Larger wheel - $500?
Stock exhaust manifold
Stock Blow Off Valve
Tune - $300?

Total (not including labor) = $3140 worth of mods (give or take)

You're right, not close to $9k LoL.

But man, that's a lot of money to sink into the Evo to put a couple cars on that 385hp version Z.

Since you can afford an Evo, have you considered Vettes at all?

Ah crud, didn't see this when I posted the prior message.

Good call on the Vette. Less weight and the LS3 responds really well to bolt-ons. If you can afford to turbo/supercharge it, there won't be much on the road that can touch it, otherwise the usual bolt-ons will get you ~400rwhp+ in a lighter platform than the Evo...

If I still had a DD I would own an LS3 Corvette as we speak, but I am saving money for a house, my condo that I own is getting to small for me and the wife. So the EVO is great in all weather conditions, 4 doors and is easy to mod. Once it is paid off the EVO will remain my DD and the LS3 will become the new toy. I have plans and they include staying N/A. I would ship the car to Livernois Motorsports and have their stage 3 head/cam package installed.
