Default 01 z06 vs evo x

A buddy of mine has a 2009 evo x with full bolt ons and tuned with 22 pounds of boost. He put down 410 to the wheels. First run was 40-120. I pull instantly and he drops to my back wheels and stays there til i had to shift into third. When he started pulling back and were about even. When I shifted into forth i started pulling hard again. We did about 5 more runs. When we went from a 60 roll he beat me, but i beat him every 40 roll.

LT1 Vettes run low-mid 13s, LT4 Vettes run high 12s/low 13s... not too shabby.

I assume you don't know what LT4s are... they were only available in '96, and only with the 6spd. And LT4s were basically just as quick as LS1 cars. Friend of mine had a '95 LT1 automatic Vette, ran a 13.6 @ 99mph bone stock. Everybody knows that LT1 F-bodies are capable of mid 13s, so why is it hard to comprehend that a Corvette that weighs less can run the same or a little quicker?

Maby the GM cars where you live...But in Houston everything is stupid fast if you don't have 650hp+ your just wasting your time. Hell there is some chicks with 1000+ Hp Supras that would make me cry after a race b/c of how many bus lengths they would put on me! But all the Evo's I have seen race on the STREET (not Track) lose to about everything and cant launch there car for ****. But thats just my experience so far.
