Cobra's are fast...

DAMNIT! No pics of mine recently, mine's a black 95 Cobra with silver Cobra R's all the way around (rears have 1.125 in. spacers) it sits lower than stock, haven't looked to see what it has though, Cobra R hood and an S351 wing...I'm on the fence about the wing, I'd love a stock Cobra or even GT wing but I don't want to buy and odds are slim of finding someone who has the exact wing I wanna trade for.

Good death OP. Great right up! I am still laughing. I had an 03 Cobra...I never really got to see its full potential...I got rid of it ASAP...I couldn't afford to keep it out of the shop...and it only had a CAI, and magna-flow cat back. It did move out tho..especially from a roll

On average it is a dead nuts race with the fbody being down around 50Rwhp.. On average it is about dead nuts even with a C5Z/Cobra with the C5Z being down around 75Rwhp. From what I have seen at least.
I wouldn't worry about it then... I would guess 400Rwhp max without a very good curve. I could be wrong though, I'm not a mustang guru by any means.. Just enough to get me by.
Meh me either. My guess was going to be somewhere around 450rwhp. But **** if that's the case then I'm gonna have to call him out as soon as my car is somewhat complete lol.

A buddy of mine has a 10th anniv. Cobra vert. He had intake and exhaust, then he bought an Evo 9...because he was tired of always looking at the tail lights of my Evo 9 haha. He realized it'd take a pretty decent hunk of change to get em set-up properly, he's tryin to sell it now.

Oh absolutely I agree stock for stock, it's obvious. My Evo wasnt really too crazily modded at that time, pretty simply modded. Just very mild cams, intake, exhaust, meth injection, 3.5" fmic with piping, stock turbo at 32psi, everything else was stock except for those few boltons. Basically walked out on anything I ever raced. Car definitely dropped plenty of jaws. Stock clutch didnt like those mods though leme tell ya lol. Never was able to get a proper launch (6000rpm 2-step) in with those mods on stock clutch.

I raced cars that were equally modded to mine, which is your basic boltons. Hell I raced my friends SN95 vert, which was fully built running a vortech s-trim at 13psi and he did beat me by about a car.
Why would I take my high 11 second car and race a 9 second car?

Easy for a guy with some 7 and 8 second cars in his sig to say, isnt it?
