So, a cousin of mine wanted to run my trans am with his 350z. I figured wth? This was ~1AM today, we went on the expressway and gave it a go from a 30 roll. He wasn't lined up properly(half a car ahead of mine) and he jumped on the 2nd honk.... I decided to play catch up, I floored it.... spun badly and when I got traction he was almost 2 cars ahead. I started gaining on him quickly, passed him and let off shortly (had a little over 2 cars put on him already).

We get off the expressway and he asked if we could go again. I said sure. We get on again and this time we go from a 50 roll. We lined up properly, and he took off properly on the 3rd honk this time. 3rd honk came around, I instantly jumped ahead and just kept putting distance on him. I had about 4-5 cars on him when I let off ~110-120mph.

the 350z was stock.

Yea.. I know.. not an awesome kill. Just figured I'd post it up

Hugger - I know LOL! He was telling my younger brother he'd beat my car. My brother told him my mods and he didn't believe him. He called me to go outside to the parking lot(we were at a party). We talked a bit about both cars. He quickly changed his tone, lol, he said he now knows I'd beat him. So I gave him that first run, I wasn't happy with it since he took off early. I wanted one that would destroy him from the start. That second run did just that

I keep wondering how you guys spin at 30mph with a practically stock A4 and no stall. My auto wont even downshift to 1st at 30 let alone spin lol. Nice kill, My roommate wants to run me with his 07 350z for a while now but I'm saving his feelings.

Really? I always hear how 30 is the sweet spot for the LS1, so thats why I told him 30 roll instead of the 60 he wanted. And it is sweet..... on street tires its too sweet LOL! Until I have better tires, I'll stick to higher rolls.

BTW, this 350z was also an 07.

I would have had it on video.... had my cousin pressed the record button on her camera. She thought she was recording the whole time. Until we all pulled into a gas station and I asked her if I could see the video. She was "I didnt press the button properly" Both of us (350z driver and I) were disappointed She was in a chase car, too. <insert facepalm.gif here>

No mods, its stock he can't afford mods with the payment haha. He was all talking **** becuse he beat my 99 cobra a few times and then I let him drive my car one night to go get something, he came back and said he didn't want to race an more lol.

Really? My mostly stock 4.8 Silverado spins at 30 lol and spins the living hell outa them at 20.

My dad like 5 or 6 years ago used to have a 2000 formula. It deffinately spun at 30 lol
