I dont think age has much to do with it, like im only 19 but have found that some people act how they act regardless of age.

What year? Seems like it would be pretty tough to beat a ~3k#/500hp (565 if it is a newer one) car. I guess anything is possible though. What speed did you race to/from?

Dont know the year really but they only weigh 300 pounds less than me, I have a tad bit of weight reduction also. We ran from a roll in first to middle third where I had a little over a car. May have been the torque advantage?

the 40-45 roll was the only close race from a dig it was real ugly for him.

i don't know what a4 means, otherwise i would say yes or no.

and even the 20 roll wasn't good for him.

I would have sprayed him if i would have left it hooked up though just for a race to put on here to **** everyone off with LOL.

I know my cars limits and modded gto's are out of my reach, but i will still race them anyway, i usually hook good on the street so that is my advantage over faster cars but top end my car doesn't make the best power so thats when other cars start catching back up.

The f-body i raced and beat by 2 cars is a friend of mine and the car is a full bolt on car and stalled but i got him out of the hole on both digs and he couldn't get it back, we both spun but the car has some kinda issues because it should have killed me easily off the bottle but it didn't. Im sure he will get it lined out soon.

 

Its a stick shift if i remember right. ill ask him next time i talk to him though.

Truth. Me and this guy went to Louisiana Tech together. I sold him his TB and mid pipes that he has on his car. Funny thing is that I didn't know all of this until Bubba and I started talking Friday night at the track. I used to catch all kinds of grief bc of this guy. He used to roll around on Nitto DRs and do smokey burnouts around campus. We both own YJ GTOs too... bad news...

Just remembered from an earlier post, Dover owns Memphis and Gateway International and after this season Gateway is rumored to be closing also. NHRA is not scheduled in St. Louis next year and there is nothing scheduled for the circle track and the bleachers are already being sold. There is a new track getting under construction that has been confirmed by a friend of mine in Eolia, MO. It is going to be an NHRA sanctioned track, will also have a heated and cooled track surface for a lengthy race season. The track is also a single ownership meaning the land and track are owned by 1 man, so maybe it will turn out to be good. I was told that the owner said the NHRA told him if he builds it the way stated they will allow him to have major events there withing the next 2 yrs. It will be called Mid America Raceway Park, not to be confused with the closed track named Mid America Raceway that also had a road course at one time in the 80's.
