Stomped the **** outta RT/10 last week....
Haven't posted a kill in a LONG time so I figured what the hell
Long story short, ran into a real nice lookin RT/10 on the way to work last week. Older guy driving, seemed to be pretty interested in my car as well. We stopped at the previous light and agreed to run from a rolling start on the next light...
Rolled out to bout a 20 mph and nailed it. Before going into 4th, I had about 4 cars and pulling.
Real cool guy, killer lookin car. I love Vipers, especially the GTS's, which I think we have given me a better run. None the less, it was a better day for me and kicked *** having a Viper going WOT in my rearview
That is all gentlemen..

Nice kill on the *S*RT/10... Now, Im curious... they have 500HP, and I would think were a bit lighter than an F-bod... How is it that one in an F-bod, with less power, would be able to pull the viper? Is it gearing or what? Are they just heavier than I though?

Thanks guys....
I forgot to mention, this is NOT one of the newer Vipers. Looked like a 95-96 RT/10.....It was a pretty bad beating though, it almost looked like he wasn't on it lol....
Goes to show the potential of a strong LS1 heads/cam motor.
However I do love Vipers, so it was pretty special for me to beat one. I'd give my left ball for a 1996 Blue GTS w/ white stripes....MEAN lookin cars and with some minor bolt ons can easily trap in the upper 120's low 130's

Nice kill damian How does snake meat taste?
your thinking of the newer Vipers, the R/T-10 is the old base version of the Viper, 400 horsepower, not 500.

Remember, the viper crankshaft is about 38% heavier than hours. Reciprocating weight plays a BIG part in the 1/4 mile. I made this same mistake myself. I got on a rolling start past an accident on a highway. This Viper and I like up and go from about 40. I leave him behind and start to feel pretty good about myself. I only noticed when he passed me by the sonic boom! I never let up on the damn gas pedal. His top end was just so much more than mine I thought I'd cry!

Well with you having 455rwhp i think he did ok. He is probably in the low to mid 12's wile you could run deep into the 11's. I would be happy to hang 4-5cars behind you BTW Nice kill!!!
