on my way to work this morning i was running about 70 and a black gto with black wheels pulls up next to me. he gives me a little rev, and nowing i was going to lose anyway i decided to go with it. he honked and on 3 we went. all of the sudden he immediately jumps out 4 lengths and as he pulled away to a rediculous lead i could see a small STS badge on the trunk lid. i ran all the way up to my 138 mph speedlimiter and he just kept going. i never saw him again. he didnt just whoop my *** he paddled me like i was a damn toddler. honestly i believe he would have run with, if not beat, my bike.

 

If it was a turbo car, then it has a chance with your bike. Went on a cruise with a front mount LS2 goat this weekend and that thing was damn fast.

 

i usually can hear the rear mount turbo, but his exhaust was so damn loud i couldnt hear my own until he was waaaaay out front.

 

It's good to get totally demolished every now and then. It keeps things in perspective Thanks for posting up the loss to a badass car!

On a side note, I was driving a couple days ago and there was very clean, black LS2 GTO cruising around. I really have no idea how people can say that's an ugly car

lemons.. murdered is a strong word. ive run vipers, zr1s ect with the bike and didnt get beat. if...if he beat me on the bike it wouldnt have been by much. remember my bike is a full on racebike. 366 lbs full of fuel. 121 whp. my trap speed at gateway international before turn 1 was 161 mph. the front stretch at gateway between turn 8 and turn 1 is about a 1/2 mile. from a dig he would get me easy. with my gearing im looking at a low 11 1/4 trying to keep the front down.

I love the LS2 GTO's but I love my F-body more. LOL

I don't think they are ugly cars at all, just boring and too similar to a Cavalier. They are not even close to being a bad looking car...

 

Bikes are easy kills, I'm sure this gto had the arm mod judging by how hard he pushed away from you.

I say he would pull a good ten car lengths from 40-110 on your bike, easily.

Nice loss OP, sometimes you just gotta tip your hat and acknowledge another guys car is in a class all it's own. At least yours gets better gas mileage!
